Engineering and construction firm Punj Lloyd Ltd today said it has received Rs 179.89 crore contract from the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) to construct their technical institute in Uttar Pradesh.
The scope of work includes civil and site development, which will be executed over a period of two years, Punj Lloyd said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
RGIPT is an autonomous institute empowered to award degrees to meet the growing requirements of the petroleum and energy sector, the filing added.
Shares of Punj Lloyd were trading at Rs 118.50 on the BSE, up 1.54 per cent from previous close.
