Punj, Whessoe JV bag $93 mn Dabhol order

Punj Lloyd today announced that the company with its joint venture partner, Whessoe UK, has been awarded the contract for completing the Dabhol LNG terminal by Ratnagiri gas and Power. The value of the contact is $ 93.02 million on EPC basis.

According to a release issued by Punj Lloyd to the BSE today, Whessoe UK, with whom the company enjoys a 50:50 joint venture, is a market leader in the LNG field, with experience in the oil and gas, refining, petrochemical, nuclear, water, power and offshore industries.

'The contract constitutes EPC package for completion of balance works of the LNG terminal and top of the jetty facilities for Ratnagiri (Dabhol) LNG Terminal project. A fast tract project the scheduled time for completion is within 13 months from the date of contract', the release added.
