Punjab & Sind Bank has touched almost Rs 11,000 crore in total business in Uttar Pradesh.
Of total business of over Rs 10,900 crore, the deposits and advances account for Rs 6,000 crore and Rs 4,900 crore respectively.
It already has 220 branches across the state.
Bank's chairman and managing director Jatinderbir Singh said agricultural advances of the UP branches was over 81% of the priority sector advances.
"We have achieved significant improvement in the credit deposit ratio (CDR) in UP and are mobilising low cost deposits as well," he told the media after holding a review meeting here.
