BS Reporter MUMBAI
Puravankara is merging operations of its affordable housing subsidiary, Provident Housing, with itself, the company said on Wednesday.

Though the company will continue to retain identities of two brands, it will merge the sales, marketing, customer relationship management and technical teams to "reduce costs, increase productivity and drive synergies across both the brands", the company said.

The strategy will be anchored in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune and Mumbai.

The company has also revamped its top management positions. Ashish Puravankara, joint managing director, will now be managing director. Nani Choksey, the current deputy MD, will take over as joint MD. Group CEO Jackbastian Nazareth’s role has been re-designated as chief development officer.
