PurpleTalk Inc, a Dallas-headquartered mobile solutions company, is in the process of launching a high-end game based on an over three-decade-old American scientific fiction television franchise during this month, according to its chief executive officer Bharath Lingam.
The company has its design facility in Dallas and a development centre employing around 300 game consultants in Hyderabad.
“We have been working on the game for close to a year now. It is going to be for iPhone and iPad as we believe that high quality games are more suitable for the iOS (iPhone operating system) in terms of the user base, primarily in the US. Besides, iOS monetises well as compared to Android when it comes to in-app purchases,” he told Business Standard.
He said the closely-held company was planning to double its employee strength in Hyderabad to 600 in the next nine months, a majority of them to work on app development.
