PwC Int'l completes acquisition of Diamond Consulting

PwC International said it has completed the acquisition of Chicago-based Diamond Consulting, a move that is likely to strengthen PwC's strategy practice in India.

The said acquisition would enable PwC India to merge a select group of consulting employees from Diamond's India operations in the strategy and research practice of PwC India.

PwC India is gradually strengthening its strategy practice in India and moving towards transformational consulting through viable acquisitions, the Diamond Consulting acquisition being one of them, PwC said in a statement.
   
"The Diamond team in India brings with them a number of key relationships, expertise in key verticals and insightful practice areas which will help our Strategy and Research practice accelerate its growth," PwC India Leader - Strategy and Research Shashank Tripathi said.

 

Meanwhile, PwC has been named as the 'India Tax Firm of the Year' by International Tax Review (ITR) -- a world-renowned magazine focusing on international tax strategy.

With over 6,000 employees in India, PwC is one of the largest professional services firm in the country. Its tax practice alone has over 50 Partners and over 1,200 employees.
