Pyramid Saimira ties up with Spize TV

In order to expand its presence in the European market, Pyramid Saimira Entertainment Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Pyramid Saimira Theatre Limited, has entered into a strategic partnership for content agglomeration with Spize TV, a UK-based pan-European direct-to-home (DTH) TV platform offer-ing various Asian and niche content to viewers in Europe.
 
Pyramid Saimira is in the business of film production in southern markets, owning hundreds of cinema screens within multiplexes, distribution and content agglomeration, operating in India, the US, the UK and Malaysia among other business interests.
 
Spize TV has also tied-up with ARY Network channels (ARY Digital, ARY OneWorld, QTV, and The Musik) and also the two B4U Network channels (B4U Movies and B4U Music) among others before the commercial launch slated for next month.
 
Spize TV will target over 30 million Asian viewers residing in the European countries.
 
PS Saminathan, MD of Pyramid said: "Spize TV is yet another giant baby step for our global entertainment strategy. With this we are now creating last mile access which will synergise and will also leverage our content significantly. Personally for me this is a re-entry into cable and satellite space and will be the start of an exciting journey in this space."
