QlikTech today signed a global partnership agreement with Capgemini, providers of consulting, technology and outsourcing services, to offer its customers added-value services and solutions for the QlikView business discovery platform.

With a proven track record implementing QlikView, the new partnership will extend across Capgemini's Global Business Information Management (BIM) practice of over 7,000 people, a Qliktech release said here today.

Christian Becht, director, business information management, Capgemini, said: "As part of our growth strategy for our global business information management (BIM) service line we are continually looking to invest in solutions and delivery capabilities with leading technology partners.

We also find that customers are increasingly looking for easy-to-use and quick-to-deploy analytics, which are complementary to the traditional business intelligence solutions they have in place, he added.

Peter McQuade, QlikTech's VP of Global Alliances said, "Organisations are looking for the type of enterprise class services that Capgemini can offer to implement QlikView in environments with existing business intelligence solutions.

QlikView's business discovery platform delivers capabilities to empower business users with agility to access information without disrupting current architecture."
