Qualcomm unveils AI-powered Snapdragon 632, 439, 429 SoCs for budget phones

Smartphones with Snapdragon 632, 439 and 429 are expected to launch in the second half of this year

Qualcomm, an American semiconductor manufacturer, on June 26 announced three new chipsets for mobile platforms – the Snapdragon 632, Snapdragon 439 and Snapdragon 429. The new chipsets brings integrated artificial intelligence capabilities, along with efficient design and improved graphic processing power.

“The introduction of Snapdragon 632, 439 and 429 builds off Qualcomm Technologies’ highest-selling mobile platforms and provides users with increased performance and power efficiency, superior graphics, AI capabilities and enhanced connectivity features,” said Kedar Kondap, vice president, product management, Qualcomm Technologies, Inc.
