Quess acquires job listing portal Monster's business units for $14 million

Billionaire Prem Watsa-backed Quess Corp has acquired the businesses of job listing platform Monster in India, West Asia and Southeast Asia for $14 million. The firm said the deal fits in its workforce management solution, which it offers to global and local clients in the region.
 
Quess also acquired for Rs 300 million HCL Services, the smartphone and consumer durables services arm of HCL Infosystems, which counts 70 per cent of the global and national brands in the country as its customers.
 
Quess will retain the Monster brand in these regions and gets a database of around 85
