Quest Diagnostics, US sets up shop in India

US based Quest Diagnostics Inc, a leading global player in diagnostic testing with $6.3 billion turnover, has entered the Asian markets through its newly launched Indian subsidiary Quest Diagnostics India. The company is to open one of the country's biggest diagnostic facilities in Gurgaon, soon.

Janak Singh Bajwa, former vice-president of Fortis Healthcare has joined Quest as its managing director.

"The ability of the healthcare system to make improvements in diagnosis and treatment are clearly linked to the availability of quality diagnostic testing and services.
