Rage signs up Diya Mirza as brand ambassador

Bollywood actress and former beauty queen Diya Mirza has been signed up as the brand ambassador by the Rage group of companies, a Ludhiana-based women's garment manufacturer, for its high fashion garments.

"We have signed Diya Mirza as our brand ambassador for the promotion of our high fashion women garments," Managing Director of Rage group, Sham Bansal, said here today.

After strengthening its position in the domestic market, Rage group has now set its eyes on the overseas market, with the aim of capitalising gains offered by the World Trade Organisation (WTO) regime, which began in this year.

"After finding huge potential in the overseas market for our products, we have started exporting our knitted products to France and we wish to expand our reach in other countries also," said Bansal.

In order to cater to overseas markets, Rage group plans to set up a new manufacturing plant, which will manufacture garments only for export purposes.

Witnessing a sudden growth in the domestic market and with new ventures planned overseas, the group plans to grow by almost 60 per cent in the current financial year.

"Last year, we achieved a turnover of Rs 10 crore and we have set a target to take the total to Rs 16 crore by the end of the current financial year," Bansal said.

Rage knit supplies its garments to various big lifestyle stores in the country and abroad.
