The Bajaj family is working on the possibility of buying estranged brother Shishir out of Bajaj Auto and privately placing the stake with foreign institutional investors (FIIs), provided the family members reach an amicable settlement on the price issue.
Sources close to the family said this option has come up in view of several offers from FIIs to the promoter family to buy Shishir
