Rain Commodities March qtr net dips 32% to Rs 59 cr

Rain Commodities, which produces cement, calcined petroleum coke and power, today said its consolidated net profit declined by 32.30 per cent to Rs 59.04 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2010.

Net sales declined to Rs 753.82 crore for the March quarter compared to Rs 1,015.56 crore during the same period last fiscal, Rain Commodities said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

Shares of Rain Commodities today closed at Rs 193.65 on the BSE, up 3.42 per cent from previous close.
