Rajeev Chandrasekhar is new FICCI president

Industrialist and Rajya Sabha member Rajeev Chandrasekhar took over as president of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) after the 80th annual general meeting of the chamber today.

Harsh Pati Singhania, managing director, J K Paper, has been elected as the senior president of FICCI - putting him in line to take over from Chandrasekhar next year.

Rajan Bharti Mittal, managing director, Bharti Enterprises, has been elected vice-president.
