Rajesh Exports engages E&Y for retail operations

Rajesh Exports has roped in Ernst & Young to assist it in the business planning process for its retail operations.

According to a release issued by Rajesh Exports to the BSE, the company has finalized its plans for setting up its branded retail stores as the retailing segment in the country has seen robust growth for sometime now.

"The Ernst & Young study would assess the reasonableness of the assumptions underlying the proposed business and financial model and strategy, Rajesh Mehta, chairman of Rajesh Exports said, adding, the study would complement the in-house research we have conducted and concluded during which we obtained critical information on the preferences and spending patterns on gold jewelry by consumers to assist us in positioning our brand appropriately and also in identifying product preferences."
