Rajesh Exports FY06 net up 54% to Rs 67 crore

Rajesh Exports has posted a 54.45% rise in net profit to Rs 66.54 crore for the financial year ended March 31, 2006 (FY06) as against Rs 43.08 crore in FY05. Revenue for FY06 grew 29.11% to Rs 5483.86 crore when compared with Rs 4247.13 crore in FY05.

The company posted an 81% drop in its net profit to Rs 3.64 crore during the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2006 (Q4FY06) as against Rs 19.79 crore reported during the corresponding quarter previous fiscal. Total income for Q4FY06 grew 25% to Rs 1783.74 crore, when comparison with Rs 1426.23 crore in Q4FY05.

The company registered an earning per share (EPS) of Rs 18.62 for FY06 as compared to Rs 12.31 for FY05.

The board of the company has recommended a 100% dividend.
