National Thermal Power Corporation has said its Madhya Pradesh solar power plant has become fully operation.
The company today started commercial operation of 20 MW solar unit thereby attaining a capacity of 50 MW for the Rajgarh solar power station.
The total capacity of non-conventional energy projects of NTPC Ltd has now reached 95 Mw.
NTPC is also the largest power producer in the country with an installed capacity of 43,039 Mw through its 16 coal-based, seven gas-based, seven solar and seven joint venture power stations contributing around 28 per cent of the country's power requirement.
