When it comes to any kind of a medical emergency you can either call an ambulance or a doctor at your door but what happens if your two wheeler encounters trouble on road?
Now a solution for vehicle trouble is just a call away as a Rajkot-based entrepreneur has stated a company ‘Service Force’ that provides emergency service for two wheelers with one call.
Within four months of its launch, India Force has got more than 2800 clients in Rajkot and the company has a target to cover more than 5000 clients by the end of March 2012. “This is first time happening in India that a company is providing emergency service to the vehicles. Generally, when vehicles break down on the road, we have to take it to a garage or call our mechanic to solve the problem and wait for solution. Now, when a vehicle breaks down on the road, the client has to just call us and we make sure our engineers reach him within 30 minutes and provide mechanical service. Moreover we drive the client to his destination in our vehicle as well”, said Hitendra Joshi, owner of Service Force.
He said, “As we have just started we are providing service only for two wheelers in Rajkot. But very soon we will expand our service for four wheelers also. For that we are designing a special mobile garage which will be on road by next year.”
Service Force is planning to expand its network to other cities of Gujarat like Ahmedabad, Kutch, Junagadh and Porbandar. Joshi said, “We are appointing franchisees in Saurashtra and Kutch and are looking for partners to cover other parts of Gujarat as well. Within the next two years, we are aiming to cater to the entire Gujarat region. We also have plans to appoint 300 franchisees across India thereafter.”
To strengthen its client base, the company is talking with several corporates and companies in Rajkot. With emergency services, Service Force also provides maintenance, insurance and regular service to the clients.
It has two garage facilities in Rajkot and has 31 employees. With plans of expansion in a year’s time; the company plans to invest about Rs 1 crore and take its employee count to 100 people.
