Ranbaxy FY04 consolidated net down 2%

Ranbaxy Laboratories has reported a 2% drop in consolidated net profit at Rs 743 crore for the year ended December 31, 2004 when compared with Rs 759.40 crore for the year ended December 31, 2003.

According to a release issued to the BSE today, consolidated income increased to Rs 5,484.70 crore from Rs 4,871.70 crore in FY03.
