Ranbaxy signs deal with CD Pharma to market Inersan

Leading drugmaker Ranbaxy Laboratories has joined hands with CD Pharma, an Indian affiliate of US-based probiotic firm VSL Pharmaceuticals, to market CD Pharma's Inersan - a patented probiotic preparation - in India and Nepal. Inersan tablets are used for dental problems such as periodontitis, gingivitis and halitosis.

This is the second in-licensing agreement of Ranbaxy with a probiotic firm.
