Rane Engine gets new euro 2mn/yr deal from VW

Rane Engine Valves has secured an additional euro 2.2 million per year export contract from Volkswagen (VW), Germany.

According to a release issued by Rane Engine Valves to the BSE today, VW has awarded a new contract for another application, which will go into the Passat, Seat - Diesel. "The new business will commence in 2007, and will contribute an additional euro 2.2 million per year," the release added.

Rane Engine Valves has been supplying engine valves for the Golf and Polo models to VW, and the current sales turnover to VW is about euro 2 million per year. the release added. 

"The company will increase the capacity of its Aziz Nagar plant in Hyderabad for the newly awarded export contract," the release said.
