Razi Healthcare, a subsidiary of Singapore-based Richard Chandler Corporation, a private investment institution, is planning to go pan-India.
NV Subba Rao, chief executive, Razi Healthcare, said, “We plan to set up modern clinics in every important locality of the state before expanding across India.” Each clinic costs around Rs 5 lakh and employs one doctor, one pharmacist and a nurse.
Opening its 31st clinic here, its director Snehal Patel said, “A vast majority of people mainly from lower-middle class do not have access to primary healthcare. We aim to bridge this gap by providing high-quality, primary healthcare to our patient at an affordable cost and become a one-stop clinic for all the primary needs of the patients.”
Based on the concept of ‘your family clinic and family doctor’, the clinics offer primary healthcare products and services, including doctor consultations, diagnostic services, minor surgical procedures and products from an in-house dispensary.
