Even as mobile telephony is reaching a stage of stagnation, Anil Ambani-led Reliance Communications is eyeing a large volume of subscriber additions. In order to bring new subscribers into its fold and expand coverage, the company today said it would share the network of another GSM telecom operator, Aircel.
This strategic intra-circle roaming arrangement will expand the dual technology operator's GSM network by 10,000 base stations, bringing an additional 150 million potential customers under its network.
