Red Fort to invest Rs 1,000 cr in Lotus Greens' projects

Red Fort will also invest in the other projects of the company.

Private equity fund Red Fort Capital will invest Rs 1,000 crore in the real estate projects of NCR-based developer Lotus Greens.

The Rs 1000 crore amount includes the Rs 365 crore already committed by Red Fort in Gurgaon project of the developer.

"The investment will be in the form of debt or equity. We are planning to launch two projects shortly wherein Red Fort will invest," said P Sahel, vice chairman of the company.

The Gurgaon project is a 100 acre township project which will have a total developable space of five million sq ft and another residential project in Yamuna Express Way which will have a another four million sq ft.  
 

Red Fort, which has under $1 billion under management, is one of the most aggressive investors in real estate space in the country.
