Red Tape sets up shop in Lucknow

Red Tape, India's premium fashion footwear brand, inaugurated its first company-owned showroom in Lucknow today.
 
Red Tape is a product of Mirza International, Kanpur. Irshad Mirza, director of Mirza International informed that the company had total sales of about Rs.275 crore in the previous year.
 
The exclusive showroom will have shoes of nucleus range in the price range of Rs.1100 to Rs.2000 and the red tape range. The red tape range consist shoes from Rs.1900 to Rs.5000.
 
Red Tape has six company showrooms in Uttar Pradesh at present.
 
These are already operational in Noida, Meerut, Moradabad and Gorakhpur. Three new showrooms are in the pipeline for Kanpur, which will be ready within a month.
 
"We need greater liaison between the Central and State government for the overall development of UP industries, added Mirza who is also the member of UP Industrial Development Council.
 
At present about twenty company showrooms are operational in various parts of the country.
 
"From August first week we are stepping into the area of garments. Our new range 'red tape world fashion' will have exclusive fashionable clothes for both men and women, informed Shuja Mirza-Vice President-marketing.
 
This will include a collection of pants, t-shirts, jeans, party wear and handbags.
 
"Lucknow and Kanpur are important markets as far as UP is concerned. Our subsequent outlets will be focused at places like Benaras, Haldwani, Allahabad and Agra, added Mirza.
