Reebok has decided to shed its premium image and proposes to reach out to the standard segment, by launching its shoes priced at Rs 700 onwards by March 2006.

Announcing this on the sidelines of unveiling its new footwear 'Adventure Line' at its flagship store in Chennai, Madhu Kannan, sales executive (South), said that the company was keen to establish a strong footprint in Chennai and plans to open four more stores in Chennai on a franchisee basis.

The product, priced between Rs 3,490 and Rs 5,490, is designed with the MOA (Multiple Off-road Activities) grip which gives the shoes a better grip, according to him.

Adventure Line also comes with a gusseted tongue, a fabric that connects the tongue to each side of the shoe, shielding the foot from water, sand from getting inside the shoes, he added.
