Reliance Energy FY07 net up 23% at Rs 801cr

Reliance Energy today reported a 23% increase in net profit at Rs 801.45 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007 when compared with Rs 650.34 crore in FY06.

According to a release issued by the company to the BSE today, total income moved up to Rs 6,575.25 crore from Rs 4,607.88 crore in FY06.

The company posted a profit after tax of Rs 237.42 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 as against Rs 169.47 crore in Q4FY06. Total income increased to Rs 1,889.67 crore from Rs 1,224.45 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2006.
