Reliance Energy Q1 net up 25%

Reliance Energy today reported a 25% increase in net profit at Rs 221.56 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2007 when compared with Rs 176.61 crore in Q1FY07.

According to a release issued to the BSE today, total income increased to Rs 1,983.93 crore from Rs 1,325.97 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006.
