Anil Ambani's Reliance Infrastructure posted a 16 per cent rise in its net for the second quarter of the current financial year as compared to the corresponding quarter last year.
The company posted a net profit of Rs 289 crore for the September quarter as compared to Rs 250.08 crore it posted in the same period last year. The company's total income went up over 60 per cent at Rs 2473.2 crore for the second quarter of the current financial year 2009 as compared to Rs 1541.73 crore it posted in the same period last year.
The company's stock ended the day at Rs 473.45, nearly 6.37 per cent lower than Tuesday's closing.
