Anil Ambani Group firm Reliance MediaWorks today said it has acquired assets of UK-based ilab for an undisclosed amount.

The company has acquired the assets of ilab that would provide processing, restoration, 2D to 3D conversion and post-production services for film, television, commercial and short production, Reliance MediaWorks said in a statement.

"Our expansion is growing at a remarkable pace and we are happy to now be offering our services in UK, one of the world's leading post-production markets," Reliance MediaWorks CEO Anil Arjun said.

Through Reliance MediaWorks UK, the company will provide services for the local film makers and broadcasters, while also catering to Hollywood and Hindi film businesses, he added.

When contacted, company officials declined to comment on the deal size.

Reliance MediaWorks UK has already secured image processing and restoration work for two projects from UK broadcasters at its US-based subsidiary Lowry Digital, it said.
