Reliance plans SEZ in Haryana

 RIL chairman Mukesh Ambani met Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and other top officials of the state administration today in connection with the proposed SEZ.

 An official spokesman of the Haryana government said a statement of intent to set up the SEZ was signed by Mukesh Ambani and Rajeev Arora, managing director of Haryana State Industrial Development Corporation.

 Award for RIL

 The Hazira manufacturing division of Reliance Industries has won the '2005 ASTD Best award' from the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD).

 "The 2005 ASTD Best award winners set the standard of excellence for exceptional practices in employee learning and development," Tony Bingham, president and CEO of ASTD, said.

 Rs 1cr aid to quake victims
 
Reliance Industries today sent supplies worth Rs 1 crore for quake victims in Jammu and Kashmir.

 The supplies included 10,000 blankets, 10,000 tarpaulin, tents and dwelling units, 1,000 units of food items and 5,000 units of woolen clothes.

 In a letter addressed to the Prime Minister, RIL chairman Mukesh Ambani said the company would provide more funds as soon as further needs were fully assessed.
