The Reliance Group company Reliance Power today declared maiden interim dividend of 10%, Rs 1 per equity share of Rs 10 each.
Total outgo on account of interim dividend payment will be to the tune of Rs 281 crore.
The interim dividend will be paid to the shareholders on or before December 09, 2015.
Nearly 3.7 million shareholders will benefit from dividend payment.
The company had reported 36.57% jump in net profit to Rs 345.63 crore for the quarter ended on September 30, on higher electricity generation.
Total income of the company has increased to Rs 2,856.01 crore against Rs 1,884.18 crore in the same quarter last year.
