Anil Ambani-led Reliance Power (R-Power) today reported a 25.79 per cent decline in profit after tax (PAT) at Rs 195.41 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2010.
The company had a PAT of Rs 263.31 crore in the same period last fiscal, R-Power said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
However, total income of the company increased 27.19 per cent to Rs 426.74 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 335.51 crore in the same period last fiscal.
Shares of the company closed at Rs 163.75, down 2.93 per cent on the BSE today.
