Reliance topples ONGC as most valued firm

Reliance Industries has toppled PSU major ONGC to grab the numero uno position with a market capitalisation of over Rs 1,96,000 lakh crore as against ONGC's Rs 1,93,653.29 crore.

Reliance gained over 2% (Rs 29.75) to close at Rs 1,407 while ONGC gained marginally (Rs 5) to end at Rs 905 .40 on the BSE on Thursady.

Telecom major Bharti Airtel is the third most valued firm with a market cap of Rs 1,50,000 crore followed by IT majors Infosys with Rs 1.32 lakh crore and TCS at over Rs 1.26 lakh crore.
