Religare Capital, the investment banking and institutional securities arm of Religare Enterprises, has made four senior appointments. This includes Misal Singh, Ballabh Modani, Varun Lohchab and Siddharth Teli. These appointments will take the total team strength to 25, the company said in a statement.
In the last six months, Religare has been beefing up its team steadily. The process began with the appointment of Martin Newson as global CEO late last year. This was followed by the appointments of Manoj Singla and Suhas Harinarayanan as managing directors and co-heads of research. Now Singh, Ballabh, Lohchab and Teli have joined as analysts. "We have an ambitious strategy to build a fully-functional, equity-focused global broking division," MD Manoj Singla said.
