IT solutions firm Religare Technologies today announced the launch of its phone and web-based healthcare information assistance service 'HealthLine 24x7'.
"The helpline will provide information about diseases, its symptoms, advice on possible treatments, probable side effects of medicines and identifying the right specialist in and around any given locality over the phone and internet," Religare Technologies President Pankaj Vaish told reporters here.
The round-the-clock service would be available free of cost and the caller has to pay just local call charges, he added.
Religare Technologies is a part of the Religare Group, which has interests in financial services (Religare Enterprises), healthcare (Fortis HealthCare and Religare Wellness, formerly Fortis HealthWorld) and diagnostics (Super Religare Laboratories, formerly SRL Ranbaxy), among others.
The company has tied up with over one lakh doctors, specialists and pharmacies, whose information will be available to callers.
