Wind power major Suzlon Group today said it has made two new appointments on the Board of its subsidiary REpower.
"Lars Rytter has taken over as the Chief Operating Officer at REpower from August 1 and Russell Stoddart will take charge as Chief Technology Officer from August 12," Suzlon Energy said in a statement.
The statement said Rytter will be able to make an important contribution, in his new role, to REpower's programme for the future.

Under this programme, the Company's plans include realising significant savings in the areas of purchasing, production and manufacturing.
"Lars Rytter knows our company well and has started as COO without needing any induction time. In his previous roles he successfully realigned purchasing activities," Andreas Nauen, CEO of REpower Systems SE, said adding that the REpower Executive Board will be completed on 12 August when Russell Stoddart will start as CTO.
"I am extremely pleased to announce the appointment of Russell Stoddart as the new Chief Technology Officer of REpower and I know that he will make a significant contribution at REpower. We are also delighted to welcome Lars Rytter back to the Company as Chief Operating Officer," Tulsi Tanti, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, said in the statement.
Suzlon Energy was trading at Rs 6.85 apiece, up 1.93%, on the BSE.
