State-run Rajasthan State Industrial and Investment Corp (RIICO) has roped in an investment of Rs 207.20 crore for six IT/ITeS projects at its export promotion industrial park.
RIICO Managing Director Alok Kumar said the corporation has allotted 32,483 sq metre for these projects.
"These IT companies are likely to generate 1,600 jobs apart from creating a favourable industrial environment in the state," he said.
Entertainment firm Compact Disc India's subsidiary Laser Infomedia leads the pack with an investment of Rs 180 crore. It will set up a gaming, publishing and development studio across 13,700 sq mt and would create 1,000 jobs.
"The company had earlier developed multiple animation movies for Hollywood and Bollywood, like 3D animation film Goal and Hustle Bustle. At present, the company operates from Chandigarh with 100 per cent export in content creation," Kumar said.
Further, software development firm Dibon Solutions Pvt Ltd would set up a Rs 12-crore software development centre and an IT training centre for its foreign clients.

"The facility spread across 9,500 sq mt would create jobs for 200 IT professionals," he said.
PMS Info Technologies would invest Rs five crore for setting up a printed circuit board design and manufacturing unit," Kumar said.
Other IT companies setting up their shops in the park include a Rs 1.5-crore project of Reservation Data Maintenance (I) Pvt Ltd which deals with data encoding and processing services for travel and aviation industries. It is likely to provide jobs to 70 people.
Two more projects of IT firm A3logics would be operated from this campus which would develop software for both international and domestic markets.
