Mukesh Ambani group firm Reliance Industrial Infrastructure (RIIL) today reported a 4.13 per cent growth in second quarter net profit at Rs 5.55 crore for the period ending September 30, 2009.
The company had a net profit of Rs 5.33 crore in the same quarter ended September 2008, RIIL said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The company's income from operations declined to Rs 13.68 crore in the second quarter, against Rs 17.3 crore in the same period previous fiscal.
For the half year ended September 2009, RIIL's net profit rose to Rs 10.65 crore. While the income from operation fell to Rs 27.34 crore during the six months, from Rs 34.46 crore in the year-ago period.
Shares of RIIL closed at Rs 1,038.70, down 1.04 per cent over previous close on the BSE.
