Anil Dhirubhai Ambani group firm Reliance Natural Resources (RNRL) today said its net profit for the third quarter ended December 31, rose by 1.76 per cent to Rs 24.21 crore as compared to Rs 23.79 crore for the same quarter in the last financial year.
According to the release issued to the Bombay Stock Exchange, total operating income of the company rose to Rs 137.71 crore for the quarter under review, as against Rs 40.73 crore for the same period last year.
For the nine month ended December 31, the company has posted a net profit of Rs 60.38 crore, against Rs 58 crore for the corresponding period last year.
As on December 31, the net worth of the company has increased to Rs 1,791 crore, it added.
RNRL, is engaged primarily in sourcing, supply and transportation of gas, coal and liquid fuels. It is also engaged in exploration, production and distribution of gas and the mining of coal, the company said.
Shares of the company settled at Rs 48.15, down 1.93 per cent on the BSE.
