Rockwell Automation, a global giant in industrial automation and a pioneer in India, has launched a programme for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in Ahmedabad last week.

India is the first country where this programme has been initiated and Gujarat the first state to roll this out even as the launch has provided a platform for OEMs to go through interactive technical and demo sessions, attend seminars and technical sessions and meet product specialists from Rockwell Automation.

"Gujarat was specially chosen for the launch of the 'essential components, exceptional value' keeping in mind the large number of OEM in the state. Gujarat has a large number of textile machine, pharma machine, dairy and food packaging machine-manufacturing units. Many of the machine manufacturers not only supply to the local market but also export across the world," said a release issued here.

Rockwell Automation has provided advanced automation control technology and services to many large end users and OEMs across India for the last 20 years.

Some leading customers include Reliance Industries, National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), General Motors, Garden Silk Mills among others.
