Rolta JV bags order from IPCL

Rolta India's consortium Stone & Webster Rolta (SWRL) has bagged an engineering services contract for the 5th gas-cracking furnace at Reliance's IPCL Gandhar Petrochemical complex at Gujarat.

According to a release issued by Rolta India to the BSE, the furnace will be an expansion of the existing four Stone & Webster USC-24W cracking furnaces and will increase the installed capacity at Gandhar to 400 KTA Ethylene.

The project has already begun and mechanical completion is planned in early 2006, the release said.
