Royal Enfield motorcycle sales registered 52.4% growth in March at 51,320 units as against 33,679 units sold same month last year.
Domestic sales recorded an increase of 52.4% at 50,059 units during the month, as compared to 32,854 units during March, 2015. Exports has seen a growth of 52.85% to 1261 units as against 825 units same month last year.
Rudratej Singh, president, Royal Enfield said, "Reaching sales of over fifty thousand motorcycles in a single month is a significant milestone for Royal Enfield. We approximately manufactured a similar number of motorcycles in 2010 that goes on to show our focus and hard work that we have put in all these years."
The total sales during the first three months of 2016 stood at 6,00,998 units as against 3,95,437 units during the same period of last year, registering 52% growth.

The domestic sales during the quarter grew 52.3% to 5,89,293 units as compared to 3,86,872 units during the same quarter last year. The exports grew by 36.7% to 11,705 units during January to March, 2016, as compared to 8,565 units during same period of last year.
