Amritsar-based Shore to Shore Logistics India Ltd, a group company of Khanna Paper Mills Ltd, is planning to set up a Rs 100-crore warehouse-cum-logistics park and an inland container depot (ICD) in Punjab.

The company has acquired about 100 acres of land in Amritsar for the proposed project, which once approved will take a year’s time to complete.

Speaking to Business Standard, Shore to Shore Logistics managing director Suneet Kochhar said, “Initially, we are planning to set up the park in Amritsar followed by Gujarat and other parts of the country. The park will cater to domestic as well as international movement. It would also provide supporting activities like loading, unloading, customs clearance, packing, and cold storage."

The company registered a turnover of Rs 100 crore last financial year and is targeting Rs 200 crore this year.

The logistics arm currently provides end-to-end transportation and handling solution to over 100,000 tonnes of material and handles about 1,500 containers per month.
