Rs 550 crore United Biotech unit gets nod in Himachal

In all two new and 13 revised proposals of exiting units will bring in a combined investment of Rs 790 crore

United Biotech dealing in life saving drugs will set up a Rs 550 crore pharmaceutical unit in Himachal Pradesh , a top official said here Saturday .
 
In all two new and 13 revised proposals of exiting units will bring in a combined investment of Rs 790 crore .
 
Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd has been given permission to set up a unit at Baddi at a cost of almost Rs 85 crore .
 
JCO Agro Fresh will set up a fruit cold storage unit an almost Rs 22 crore near Theog .
 
Khurana Oleo Chemicals Units-11 will put up a unit in Nalagarh with a proposed investment of Rs 17 crore.
 
 
Solenoid Valves Compressor Spares , Industrial Automation products . Softgel Capsules , Swan Stainless Steel , Theon Pharma , Su-Kam power systems are firms  which will expand their  industrial units in the state .
