Rourkela Steel Plant has exported a consignment of 2700 tons of plate mill plates yesterday to Dubai against an order placed by M/S Stemeor MESADMCC of Dubai.
The consignment comprises two grades of plates viz. BSEN 10025s275JR plus ASTMA36 will be shiped to Dubai through Vizag port, RSP sources today said.
The plate had recently despatched two more export orders of its plates to Taiwan and Nepal. A consignment of 4900 tones of plates dispatched to Taiwan during February- March, 2010 while another consignment of 640 tones of plates sent to Nepal in April-May 2010, the sources said.
