Managing Director of Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) has appealed to the employees to continue their efforts for achieving the targets in the next three months to set a new production record.
"We have a great opportunity for achieving our targets in next three months. We should put in every bit of effort and ensure that our achievements of the last couple of years are consolidated and serve as a launching pad to take our steel plant to new heights of ascendancy and growth", S N Singh said while interacting with the employees of various departments.
Singh congratulated the employees on the success achieved by RSP in various fields of endeavour in 2010 and hoped that the targets of 2.3 million tonnes of Hot Metal and 2.2. Million tonnes of Crude steel, for 2010-11 will be achieved.
The MD exchanged pleasantaries with the employees and sought their views to improve performance.
