Ruchi Soya Industries, India’s largest cooking oil and soya food producer and retailer, has posted 177.42% rise in its net profit at Rs 78.59 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2013 as compared to Rs 28.33 crore in the corresponding period last year.
Net sales of the company rose by 7.38% to Rs 7,554 crore for Q4, 13 compared to Rs 7,035 crore in the same quarter last year.
Dinesh Shahra, managing director of the company attributed the staggering growth in financial performance to strong sales of branded products and better realization from export markets.
