Ruias, Khaitans to appear before trial court today

Anshuman Ruia and Ravi Ruia, promoters of Essar, and Loop Telecom’s I P Khaitan and Kiran Khaitan are likely to appear before the CBI Special Court on Wednesday in connection with the 2G telecom spectrum case. The Ruias and the Khaitans, accused in the Loop-Essar case in the 2G spectrum scam probe, have been given another chance to adhere to the CBI court summons anfter they had failed to make an appearance in the trial court on January 27, citing reasons that summons were not issued properly. The court had issued fresh summons for the next hearing to be held on Wednesday.
